Chapman’s talented team includes Class A/B Underground Storage Tank (UST) Licensed Operators to assist facilities with UST Regulation compliance.

In addition, Chapman can provide your facility with compliance assistance pertaining to all above ground storage tanks (ASTS) and underground storage tanks containing both petroleum products and chemical compounds.

Know What to Do

For example, one common emergency plan often overlooked by facilities is the EPA’s Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) Plan (40 CFR 112).

These spill plans should be developed, in accordance with the requirements of US EPA 40 CFR part 112, to cover the above ground petroleum storage (tanks and containers that are 55 gallons or greater) at the facility. This regulation applies to non-transportation-related facilities with a total above ground (i.e. not completely buried) oil storage capacity of greater than 1,320 gallons.

Stay in Compliance!

The rule also requires the inclusion of oil filled equipment (e.g. electrical transformers) with a capacity of 55-gallons or greater. Chapman can help your facility achieve and maintain continued compliance with this federal rule requirement.
